Bike along the river or up into the mountains.

Mountain meadows, adventure trails, cycle routes: mountainbiking and cycling in the South of the Eisack valley can be enjoyed by everyone. The more sporty like to pedal up to the Villanderer Alm, where there are many exciting tours waiting to be discovered – for example to Totenkirchl or to the Rittner Horn. Your tiring pedal up the mountain will be rewarded by wonderful views to the Sarntal Alps and the Dolomites. But it doesn’t have to be as strenuous, mountainbikers can also ride the trail from here to Lajen and then pedal further on through fields and forests to Albions.

Families and weekend cyclists will prefer the cylce route from Brenner to Bozen which runs alongside the river Eisack. A trip to the Bishop’s city of Brixen on the saddle takes about an hour. Just enough time for licking an ice as you wander round the streets of Brixen and then a pleasurable ride back again makes for a great day out!

TIPP

If you want to combine cycling and swimming, you can pedal up to the openair swimming pool in Feldthurns (free entry with the KlausenCard)! Refreshed and relaxed after a swim in the sun, it is almost all downhill back to us in Pension Torggler.

If you don’t want to bring your bike with you it’s not a problem! With the KlausenCard you get a 10% discount when you rent a bike from the bike rental station „Südtirol Rad“ at Klausen station.
